Program Notes:

Eastman has an annual Holiday Sing at the end of the fall term shortly before classes end for winter break. The Eastman Clarinet Choir performed David Lovrien's "Minor Alterations" in 2014 to great acclaim. Chris Rueda floated the idea of doing Hanukkah tunes (since the fare is more often than not Christmas carols), and since it is clarinet choir, a Klezmer style seemed rather appropriate.

The medley incorporates the tunes "S'Vivon", "Maoz Tzur" ("Rock of Ages"), "I Have a Little Dreidel", and "Hanukkah, O Hanukkah".
