Program Notes:

This chorale comes from the center of Gustav Holst's "Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity", itself the middle of his seven-movement suite The Planets. The tune itself became popular outside of the suite and was used as the melody for a patriotic hymn I Vow to Thee, My Country.

This arrangement was prepared for performance at the first annual LPCSC Clarinet Day on January 20, 2024.
