Waltz Platonique, Op. 142 (2022)

Program Notes:

In fall 2022, two of my students (Berrek Ohime, a senior trumpet player, and Kale Condo, a junior trombone player) approached me and asked me to write them a duet. Later that week, I saw them waltzing with their instruments at a marching band rehearsal and we determined that that would have to be part of the piece!
