Program Notes:

I have been close friends with Turi Scilipoti for about 12 years now, and I am lucky to also have gotten to know his brother Ian during this time. I first met Ian when he came to visit Turi at Eastman, but have since gotten to spend time with him at their house in upstate New York, when visiting New York City, and at Lake George. This summer, I learned I would be stopping by Lake George somewhat last-minute during a weekend of birthday celebrations for Ian! I knew he recently acquired a nice full-sized keyboard, so I wrote this set of miniatures for him as a birthday gift.
