Strawberry Waltz, Op. 149 (2023)

Program Notes:

Zach Kabacinski wrote a suite for solo piano entitled Natural Sugar, a collection of short and sweet tunes reflecting the personality of various fruits. The piece is thoroughly delightful, but the strawberry piece he wrote didn't sit right with me. He challenged me to present my own musical impressions of a strawberry and the results are before you!

I limited myself to the same constraints he used while writing his suite - a double spread of music with a range from C2-C7 - playable on most keyboards!
